Role: Senior Associate – Litigation

Reporting to: Senior Partner

We are looking for a Senior Associate to join the litigation practice. The role would suit a qualified Jersey Advocate with at least five years’ relevant experience (including prior to local qualification) who enjoys working on interesting, high-quality matters as an integral part of the team.

The role involves running matters day to day with the support of the Partners, managing and co-ordinating the work and making sure clients receive a high-quality, timely and responsive service. It also offers the opportunity to supervise and develop more junior lawyers and to share knowledge and experience across the team.

Senior Associates also have a real role in the business of the practice. That means building and managing client relationships, contributing to business development and winning new work, and taking responsibility for the financial side of their matters, from budgeting through to billing and collection.

The ideal candidate will have sound technical ability, good judgment and the ability to think on their feet, together with clear communication skills, a calm approach under pressure and the organisation to manage competing priorities.
