Experiences / Cases
The firm advised Accuro Trust (Switzerland) SA as trustee (the Trustee) of the P Trust and the C Trust (together the Trusts) as to how to add the settlor of the Trusts, who had been designated as an excluded person of the Trusts, back into the class of beneficiaries due to a change in her circumstances. The firm advised and acted for the Trustee in its successful application to the Jersey Royal Court for orders pursuant to Article 47(1) of the Trusts (Jersey) Law 1984, as amended, to (i) revoke a revocable deed of cessation of beneficiary and deed of irrevocable exclusion both relating to the settlor in respect of the C Trust; and (ii) vary the terms of the P Trust so that the settlor could be removed from the list of excluded persons of the P Trust.
