Jane is a consultant in the contentious practice areas of Dickinson Gleeson, joining the firm in May 2019.
Since joining, Jane has become part of the team led by James Gleeson which is currently working on a very substantial breach of trust claim on behalf of the plaintiff in the action. Her other work at Dickinson Gleeson consists of advising trustees/high net worth individuals/companies and shareholders on contentious issues.
Having qualified as an English solicitor, Jane was sworn in an Advocate of the Royal Court in 1995. Over the years, she has gained a wide range of experience in all aspects of dispute resolution. She was the managing partner of a successful local law firm, and was appointed a Crown Advocate by the Attorney General.
After a career break to spend more time with her young family, Jane returned to work in the legal profession as the Chief Executive Officer of the Law Society of Jersey, prior to returning to private practice in 2013.
In addition to her legal career, Jane has held various other positions. She served as a member of the Jersey Police Complaints Authority, a governor on the Board of Governors of Jersey College for Girls, a non-executive Director of Andium Homes Limited, and a judge for the Jersey Enterprise Awards.
